This weekend was the beginning of what I feel will be better times on the LS. We began using voice chat again and the difference was felt almost immediately. Although there were only around four to five of us voice chatting at any given time, it gave us all the chance to do some quests in better fashion, put together a couple of xp parties that worked and just enjoy the great humor that all of us brought in.

Friday Night:
Mount Zhayolm Map Quest w/ Onedarkflame. Being able to just talk it out while sneaking and invisibling our way through the area was so much more easy and fun than having to auto-run our way into a wall while trying to type as fast as you can.

Merit Party w/ Zerayla, Standpoint and Elden. The mission was to get me the whole 42,000 experience points to level 75 in one night. Lol, well, that was my goal as crazy as it sounds and, due to some technical difficulties, we only got about 12,000 xp in the process. But still, it was a start and a lot of fun. I've always loved to party with friends, its just a blast.

Saturday Night:
Xp Party w/ Zerayla, Drimer and Alianne. Zera's Black Mage and Ali's Ninjar happened to be around the same level as Drimer and I's Warrior and Dark Knight so we decided to put something together and get some xp. We had a very good setup and all achieved to level once. Would have probably gotten more than that except we were in a non-ideal camp with a White Mage that wouldn't pay attention or respond when spoken to so were never able to agree upon changing camps. >_<;

Sunday Evening-Night:
Xp Party w/ Drimer. We built our own party and began xping around 4:00 pm. We had a slow start since we lacked a Red Mage to dispell the Crab's stoneskin and evasion moves. Once we got a Red Mage, everything changed. In the course of six hours and about three replacements Drimer and I went from level 51 to level 55!!! I was completely and utterly surprised. I was dying to get to 55 in order to get rid of basically ALL my 10 to 25 level-old equipment and sport brand new gear. It took us our last four Anniversary Ring charges but it going to be more than worth it later today when I mule all the equipment and sport my shiny new look.

All this, acompanied by random remarks from everybody present in Voice Chat, elevated the fun factor of this world to a whole new level. I am looking forward to what we will acomplish next.
